NEW CARLISLE - Sandra K. Davis, 71, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away at 6:41 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014, in the Methodist Hospital, Merrillville, Indiana.

Sandra was born on May 25, 1942, in South Bend, Indiana, to Stephen and Virginia (Krakowski) Danielowicz, and was a lifelong area resident. Sandra had been employed as an Accounting Manager for the St. Joseph County Airport Authority since December 1979. On June 23, 1962, in South Bend, she married Harry L. Davis, who survives.

Also surviving are her seven children, Cary L. (Valerie) Davis of New Carlisle, Indiana, Michael O. (Laura) Davis of Galien, Michigan, Mark A. (Kerrigan) Davis of LaPorte, Indiana, Scott A. Davis of New Carlisle, Indiana, Monica L. (Donald) Reid of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Troy E. (Dawn) Davis of LaPorte, Indiana, and Kelley A. (Michael) Mason of New Carlisle, Indiana; eleven grandchildren, Cayla R. (Colton) Morrison, Brittany D. (Travis) Logan, Briana N. Davis, Hillary M. Mason, Brae E. Davis, Lindsay T. Mason, Travis O. Davis, Ryan Reid, Mark Davis, Brett Mason and Broc Davis; two great-grandchildren, Bentley Logan and Tessa Morrison; three sisters, Judith Donovan of South Bend, Indiana, Beverly (Edward) Sommers of South Bend, Indiana, and Stephanie Butler of Virginia; and two brothers, Thomas (Linda) Danielowicz of Florence, Alabama, and Myron Danielowicz of South Bend, Indiana. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Virginia Danielowicz; and two brothers, Stephen and Robert Danielowicz.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 26807 U.S. Highway 20, South Bend, IN 46628. Sandra was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Three Oaks, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sandra enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was always generous with all. She enjoyed being outdoors and took seriously Jesus's words at Matt 28:19-20. She shared regularly her hope of God's Kingdom with others, and she is confident of God's promise to restore this earth to His original purpose of paradise (Psalms 37:11). Sandra has a firm trust in God's promise to restore all those who have fallen asleep in death (John 5: 28-29). She looks forward to the time when as promised death will be no more (Rev. 21:1-5). Sandra's family eagerly looks forward to seeing her again in Jehovah God's time. .
