GRANGER Ronald E. Balsley, 50, of 52650 Santa Monica Drive, died about 3 p.m. Sunday following an automobile accident on Michigan 51. Mr. Balsley was employed by Lithotone Inc., Elkhart, in bindery for 30 years. He was born Feb. 27, 1942, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong area resident.
On Aug. 10, 1963, in South Bend, he married Marsha R. Jaroff. She survives with a daughter, Tracy A. Balsley of Reno, , Nev.; a son, Erik S. of Mishawaka; his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Leonard J. Rosell of Lawrence, Mich.; his father, Ramon Balsley of South Bend; his stepmother, Marion Balsley of South Bend; and a sister, Roberta DeFaria Savage of Mishawaka.
He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, American Turners, and Knights of Columbus Council 4386.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Northern Indiana chapter.
