Bruce C. Ladd

Bruce C. Ladd, 39, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 2:55 a.m. Thursday in Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. He was a graduate student at Florida State University.

He was born on Oct. 15, 1940, in South Bend, and lived here most of his life, moving to Florida in 1973.

On June 29, 1968, in Elkhart, he married Susan Brannan, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Linda Kaufman of Jackson, Tenn.; a brother, Barry of Indianapolis, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvyn H. Ladd of South Bend.

The Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was a member of the Phi Delta Kappa educational fraternity and a veteran of the Vietnam conflict
