James Emery Kocsis

July 3, 1939-Oct. 31, 1995

SOUTH BEND James Emery Kocsis, 56, of Flint Court, was found dead in his home Wednesday in his home after an illness. Mr. Kocsis was employed as a substance abuse counselor for St. Joseph County.

He was born July 3, 1939, in South Bend.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Kocsis of South Bend; a sister, Linda Howard of Tucson, Ariz.

He was active in the South Bend Civic Theatre, was a veteran of the Navy, and was a graduate of Ball State University.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
