I was saddened to learn that Diane Szekendi, South Bend Central High School Class of 1964 died on March 26, 2026, after she refused treatment for an illness of several months. Her photo can be found on page 110 in the 1964 Interlude yearbook. Please add her name and photo to the In Memory page, OK?

Di Thomson and I reconnected after I received a phone call from her in 2014. Then we both met at the South Bend Central Apartments for a tour of the building. We've been in touch via Facebook until she died.
