Victor E. Paxson, age 71, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away at 10:00 am Friday, October 27, 2017 at his home. Victor retired as the warehouse manager for Romaine, Inc. in Elkhart, Indiana.

Victor was born on August 25, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Victor E. Paxson, Jr. and Maxine (Parish) Paxson and has resided in Mishawaka for the past 38 years.

Victor was confirmed at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, South Bend. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Victor served from 1965-1967 at Cam Ranh Bay during the Vietnam War. He was hardworking, simplistic, and very attentive to those who needed him.

Victor is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Robert Dorsch, Jr. of Mishawaka; son, William Paxson of South Bend; two grandchildren, Coral and Cade Dorsch; his sister, Cynthia Bingaman (Paul) Pedersen of South Bend; two nephews, Reed (Jennifer) Bingaman and their children, Nate and Sarah of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan and Ehren (Mindy) Bingaman and their children, Darian, Amelia and Reese of Kennesaw, Georgia; and close friends, Bev and Jerry.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 3, 2017 at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Rev.
