PLYMOUTH Larry L. Kovachevich, 66 years, passed away on Dec. 24, 2011 in Portland, OR. He was born in Plymouth, IN to Alex (deceased) and Evelyn (Peltz) Kovachevich.

Larry attended Madison Elementary, Central High School, IUSB, Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI (where he received a bachelors degree), Purdue University in Purdue, IN (where he received a masters degree) and St. Louis School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO (where he received a doctorate degree). He interned at Providence Hospital, Portland, Oregon.

Larry opened his own clinic in Bend, Oregon and later opened First Care Med in Seattle, WA.

Larry married in South Bend and had a son, Craig, who preceded him in death in August 2010. He later married Jeanetta Dory who survives, along with stepson Ty Glancer, adopted daughter Jennifer Wieser, grandsons Kevin and Kole Kovachevich, step great grandson Christian Glander, his great pal little miniature "pom" Kisley and his mother, Evelyn Kovachevich, of South Bend.

Larry worked in his senior year (part time) at the Tribune in Public Relations. He loved travelling, white water rafting, the outdoors, his yard and, most of all, Larry thrived on making people well. He cured people of migraine headaches. He treated people after Bells Palsy, taking away paralysis with treatment.

What a great person you are & were - precious to Dad & I. Thank you, son, for the happiness you gave us. You are with the angels and God now. God bless you -- Mom.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
