David Charles Hruska
Jan. 25, 1944 - Jul. 14, 1997
David Charles Hruska, 53, of South Bend, Ind., died after an illness on Monday morning, July 14, in Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1944, in South Bend, to Howard E. and Mary Jo ''Bock'' Hruska, who survive. He is also survived by his twin sister, Mary Jay Costello of Putnam Valley, N.Y.; and by two brothers, Jon and Howard K. Hruska, both of South Bend.
David worked for the Reliance Electric Company as a senior sales engineer in Omaha, Neb., until moving back to South Bend. He was active in the Who's Who International Travel Society, Omaha Chapter, and the South Bend RC Club.
He was a graduate of Central High School and received his Bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University, and his Master's degree in marketing from the University of Arizona at Tucson.
Services of remembrance will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street, with the Rev. Mary Hubbard of the Central United Methodist Church officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home two hours prior to services.
Memorials in memory of David may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
