Karen Anne Dabros

Karen Dabros, 43, of Bloomington, Ind., formerly of South Bend, died at 3 a.m. Monday at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, after an illness. Mrs. Dabros was head nurse of the Progressive Care Unit at Bloomington Hospital.

She was born Dec. 17, 1943, in South Bend.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Dzierba, at home; two sons, Alex Dzierba and Bobby Dzierba, both at home; a brother, Edward Dabros of Granger; and her mother, Josephine Dabros of South Bend.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Day Mortuary, Bloomington. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and an hour before the services Wednesday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Dabros was a graduate of the former Holy Cross School of Nursing.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bloomington Hospital.
