After his service he embarked on a dedicated career as a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic until his retirement.
In his personal life, Bill was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving daughter, Kimberly Williams, and his son, George Niblick. Bill's legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Elayzha Williams, Eric Williams II, Dana Niblick, and Madelyne Greathouse and great grandchildren Sophia Williams, Niko Williams and Theo Tugara who will forever cherish the memories of the precious time they spent with their grandfather. He is also survived by his sister, Vicki Hill, and many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his brothers, Charles Niblick and Craig Hill.
Bill's passion for life was evident in his many interests. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan, never missing a game and always ready to cheer on his team. His commitment to youth sports was exemplified through his years of service as a East Side Little League Coach, where he mentored and inspired countless young athletes with his wisdom and kindness.
Known affectionately as "Mr. Smell Good" by those who knew him best, Bill's warm presence and signature scent left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His sense of humor, generous spirit, and the love he had for his family were the hallmarks of his character.
In his retirement, Bill dedicated his time to what mattered most to him—his grandchildren.
