Gloria "Tiny" Hinshaw, age 68, resid16ent of Mooreland, went to be with God on Wednesday, June 26,2013. She was at her home with her family at her side.
She was born Sept. 29,1944 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Edgar and Patricia (Clear) McCoy.
She was a 1962 graduate of South Bend Central High School. She was retired from Dana Corp after 30 years of service. She attended Mt. Summit Christian Church. She loved family activities and enjoyed making decorative tiles, stretcher pads, blankets and quilts.
Left to cherish her loving memory include her husband of 50 years, Gerald Hinshaw; 1 daughter, Greta Atkinson (husband Larry) of Greensburg; special daughter, Sherry Hinshaw (husband Jay) of Losantville; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Atkinson (wife Tracy), Austin Atkinson, and Rachel White (husband Cody); 3 great-grandchildren, Elijah Atkinson, Kyrie Atkinson, and Annlyn White; 2 brothers, Barry McCoy and Tim McCoy, both of South Bend; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Gerald D. Hinshaw, Jr.
Friends may call from 12 noon-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 29,2013 at Mt. Summit Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., June 29,2013 at the church with Rev. Mark O'Brien officiating.
Arrangement are being handled by Macer-Hall Funeral Services.
