Alan Arnold Kristowski

Alan Arnold Kristowski, 69, of Lutz, FL passed away January 13, 2013. He was born October 26, 1943, in South Bend, IN to the late Arnold G. and Mildred (Hoffmann) Kristowski. On September 27, 1975, he married the love of his life Linda L. (Jackson) Kristowski.
Alan was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an outgoing, caring, and passionate individual who will be missed and fondly remembered by all he knew. Alan excelled in baseball at his alma mater, the University of Notre Dame, where he was an all-time monogram winner for the 1964 and 1965 seasons and then went on to play for the Chicago White Sox organization.
He was an avid golfer and relished every moment on the golf course. He had a wide reaching professional career in the nutrition industry serving as a board member on the Florida State Board of Dieticians and Nutritionists, as a health food store co-owner, Nutritional Counselor and, most recently, a supplement sales representative.
His love of family and entrepreneurial spirit led him to go into business with his two sons, where they shared ten memorable years together. Alan lived a very passionate life and his infectious laughter will be deeply missed by his family whom he loved so much.
His survivors include wife, Linda L. Kristowski, sons, Jason (Melissa) Kristowski, Joshua (Amanda) Kristowski, and five grandchildren, Jak, Grace, Ben, Ella, and Avery Kate. He also leaves his brother Denny (Sue) Krist, sister Susan (Mike) Stanchin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Gathering in Memory will be held Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, 6-8 p.m. and a Celebration of Life Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at 4 p.m. at 4 p.m., at Brewer & Sons Funeral Home, S. Tampa, 813-835-4991.
