Karen Ann Molnar

Karen A. Molnar, 56, of Wall Street, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2001, in her home. She was born on December 7, 1944, in Terre Haute, Ind., to the late Forest and Ruth (Meyers) Combes.
Karen was formerly employed as a nurse with the Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center and the St. Joseph County Jail.
On October 5, 1963, in South Bend, Ind., as Karen A. Combes, she married Anthony P. Molnar, who survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Kelly M. (Russell) Haimbaugh of South Bend and Tammy S. (Chris) Nyers of Bradenton, Fla.; a son, Michael A. Molnar of South Bend; two grandchildren, Samantha and Kaleb Haimbaugh; and a brother, F. Michael Combes of South Bend.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2001, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home Chapel, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Cremation will follow, with the burial of the cremains in Highland Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
