Robert J. Wisniewski, 73, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016, after a long illness. He was born Sept. 18, in South Bend, Ind. Robert moved to Las Vegas in 1965, where he worked as a food and beverage manager for many local casinos. In more recent years he was a general contractor, owning his own business. He served his country in U.S. Air Force as a Navigation Systems Mechanic. Robert also worked for the Nevada Test Site. He enjoyed many social clubs including the American Legion Post 8, German American Club, and Eagles Club. Robert most enjoyed socializing with his many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Rose (nee Kramer); and his brother, Frank. Robert is survived by his daughter, Cheryl of Boston. Services will be at noon Wednesday, April 20, at the American Legion Post 8, 733 Veterans Memorial Drive, Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Nathan Adelson Hospice.
