Robert Alan Snider

Robert Alan Snider, 86, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 in Niles, Michigan.

Bob was born on July 4, 1939 in St. Joseph, Michigan to the late Hollis Leroy Snider and Helen E. (Zech) Snider.

Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sons, Greg Snider and Gary Snider.

Left to cherish the memory of Bob is his loving wife of many years, Audrey (Hawblitzel) Snider; daughters, Carla (Jeff) Vedrenne and Carol (Steve) Hurt; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren with two on the way, daughters-in-law, Jennifer Snider and Susan Snider, and brother, Richard (Kay) Snider. 

Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He cherished every moment spent with his family, taking great joy in the laughter and memories created with his grandchildren. A proud educator, Bob earned a Master’s Degree which he used to inspire those around him throughout his career.

Bob was a lifelong learner with a profound appreciation for history. He had a passion for collecting stamps and coins, finding joy in the stories they told and the history they represented. An avid car enthusiast, Robert enjoyed attending car shows, where he could admire vintage vehicles and connect with fellow car lovers.

Bob was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Memorial contributions in memory of Bob may be made out to Heartland Hospice, World Missionary Press, or Calvary Church South Bend.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
