William A. Jordan

William A. Jordan, 64, of Charlotte, died Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Presbyterian 'Main' Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2003 at Ascension Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard Runge officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will be held at Highland Cemetery in South Bend, IN. Mr.

Jordan was born March 14, 1939 in South Bend, IN, son of the late Arthur and Evelyn Jordan.

He attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, and graduated with an engineering degree from Valparaiso University. William volunteered much of his time to the developing of computer labs for the children of Lutheran preschool and primary schools. He enjoyed sailing, hunting, flying, fishing and spending quality time with his family.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Kay Jordan; children, Linda Carol Jordan, Bruce Allan Jordan and his wife, Jennifer; brother, Michael Jordan and his wife, Elaine; and the family of his late brother, John Jordan.

In addition to his parents and brother John, William was also preceded in death by brothers Charles Jordan and Richard Jordan.
