Carol K. Hock , 65, of Meadowlark Lane, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, in her home.
She was born on Aug. 26, 1939, in South Bend, to Carl and Margaret (Colbert) Bujtas. On Oct. 17, 1959, in South Bend, she married James D. Hock , who survives.
Along with her husband of 44 years, survivors include two sons, James D. (Tami) Hock Jr. of Mishawaka and David Hock of South Bend; two grandchildren, C. J. and Ethan Hock ; and one brother, John (Lynne) Bujtas of Elkhart.
Mrs. Hock graduated from Central High School, South Bend, in 1957. She was a member of Calvary Temple, where she had been the bookkeeper until her illness of nearly two years caused her to retire. She loved people and had a servant's heart. She especially loved working where there were many opportunities to minister to people, both the young and not so young. While she will be greatly missed by who that cherished her, we are rejoicing that we have the assurance that she is in the presence of her Lord Jesus.
