SOUTH BEND - Services for Betty Lou Stajkowski, 55, of 18671 Cleveland Road, who died at 8:55 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Cremation will take place. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Mrs. Stajkowski was a former employee of Drewrys Ltd. and Mother Goose Day Care Center. She was born July 12, 1939, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.
On Oct. 7, 1961, as Betty Lou Baker, she married Raymond R. Stajkowski. He survives with a daughter, Amy Stajkowski of South Bend; her mother and stepfather, Clara and Russell Deal of South Bend; and a brother, Wayne R. Baker of Napa Valley, Calif. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
