Eileen “Shelley” (Shultz) Williams

Eileen "Shelley" Williams, 70, of North Liberty, passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Williams was born on August 23, 1937 in South Bend to the late Robert J. and Rose M. (Silakowski) Shultz. She has lived most of her life in our local area. On April 12, 1985 in North Liberty, she married Paul F. Williams, Jr. who survives.

Along with her husband, Paul, survivors include; three sons, Lance J. Hodge of Fort St. John, British Columbia, Darren C. Hodge and Ian J. Hodge, both of Seward, Alaska; two step-sons, Paul F. (Sara) Williams, III and Garrett R. Williams, both of North Liberty; daughter-in-law, Colleen Hodge of Knox; and six grandchildren, Wendy Kuchel of Indianapolis, Sarah, Jacob and Zachary Hodge, all of Knox, and Ryan and Jodi Williams of North Liberty. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her son, R. Shannon Hodge, and two brothers, Robert J. and Gerald N. Shultz.

Mrs. Williams formerly worked at Miller's Merry Manor in Walkerton. She retired in 2000 from Indiana Health Center where she worked as a case manager. She attended North Liberty United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Home Economic Club.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville. Rev. John Wolf, pastor of North Liberty United Methodist Church, will officiate.
