Earl J. Rynearson

Earl Rynearson, 72, residing in Elkhart, IN, passed away at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010 in his home. He was born February 19, 1938 in South Bend, a son of Earl Herbert & Evelyn (Mahler) Rynearson, and has lived in the South Bend-Elkhart community all of his life.

Earl was Founder & Pastor of Abundant Life Fellowship in South Bend for 21 years. He also worked at Fairview & Highland Cemeteries and Palmer Funeral Homes.

He was married to Kathryn J. "Katie" Miller Rynearson who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by a brother Ron Rynearson on August 18, 2007.

On December 16, 2006 in Indianapolis, IN, he was united in marriage to Tecya D. Carter who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Pam (David) Mendenhall of South Bend, Deb (Mike) Munson of Bedford, IN, a son, Jeff A. (Shirley) Rynearson of Lakeville, three step-sons, Rodrick Brown and James (Sheila) Brown both of Elkhart, and Matt (Tracie) Brown of Moscove, MS. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and one step great-grandchild, and a sister, Kathy Davis of New Palestine, IN.
