MARION — Marilyn Manuszak, 72, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Marion, IN. Marilyn was born in South Bend on November 4, 1938, to the late Stanley and Harriet (Klucz) Leda. On May 10, 1958, in South Bend, she married Walter Manuszak, who passed on January 16, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Jake Manuszak.

Surviving Marilyn are sons, Martin (Jenell) Manuszak of Marion, IN, Mike (Sheryl Mong) Manuszak of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Koby, Katelyn, Angela Marie Manuszak, Jennifer Barhydt; and sister, Elaine (Daniel) DeBeck of Granger.

Marilyn enjoyed the accordion, singing, and all types of music, especially from the Big Band Era. She was a gentle spirit. She loved and treasured her kitty, Heather.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m.on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S.Mayflower Road. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St.Joseph Cemetery.
