Thomas Leon Wesolek
Dec. 2, 1947 - March 25, 2008
MISHAWAKA - Thomas L. Wesolek, 60, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday in his home. Thomas was born on December 2, 1947 in South Bend to the late John B. and Irene S. (Putek) Wesolek.
On February 12, 1983 he married Debra J. (DeHaven) she survives along with his two sons, Jeremy of Santa Monica, CA and Matthew of Mishawka; daughter-in-law, Ria; and a grandson, Jacob. Tom retired in 2003 from Dodge/Rockwell after 36 years of service. He was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Tom's passions in life were first his family and friends, followed by a poker game, the Cubs and the Fighting Irish. A "Thank You" to the staff of Nephrology, Inc. at Edison Lakes for their tender care.
Visitation will be today, March 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated be at 10 a.m. Saturday March 29, in St. Hedwig Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
