MILWAUKEE, WI - We the family of Charles Leonard McKnight Sr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin would like to announce his passing, Sunday, December 6, 2020. Charles was born to the union of Ira D. McKnight Sr. and Opal Ingram in South Bend, Indiana on his mother's birthday, April 23, 1947. Charles married Rosie Lark in South Bend, Indiana. Rosie departed this life March 23, 2010 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Charles leaves to mourn his passing his children, Selena Harris, Charles L. McKnight, Crystal (John) Black, and Charles Luster; his stepchildren, Rosalind Brown, David Sims, Damien Sims, and Rhonda Sims-Nash; one sister, Clara Fowler of Indianapolis, Indiana, his grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosie McKnight, his parents, Ira D. McKnight Sr. and Opal Ingram McKnight; three brothers, Earl McKnight, Ira D. McKnight Jr., and Lee McKnight, and one sister, Delia M. Williamson. No arrangements have been made at this time.
