Bradley "Brad" Wayne Byrer

Brad Byrer 72, of Bonita Springs passed away after a short illness on December 6, 2019. He was born in Kansas City, MO and grew up in South Bend, ID. A graduate of Purdue University, he worked for Proctor & Gamble and retired after many years from Hallmark Cards. Brad proudly served in the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Donna Byrer and his first wife, Evelyn Byrer.

Brad prioritized family and often organized family events. He was known for his warm smile and friendly personality. He and his wife reside in the Copperleaf at the Brooks community, where Brad was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed boating and fishing with family and friends. Brad rarely missed watching his Purdue Boilermakers play football and basketball. His smiling faced will be greatly missed.

Brad is survived by his loving family, wife Lisa, his son Chad, daughter Tera Hall (Todd) and 4 grandsons, Aiden Byrer, Gavin Garulay, Cooper and Connor Beck. He is also survived by his 3 brothers, Bob (Peg), Bill (Katie) and Dann (Alethia) as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held for Brad on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail So., Bonita Springs, FL at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL or the American Cancer Society.
