James Edward Plump Sr.

SOUTH BEND - Mr. James Edward Plump Sr., 61, of Lincoln Way West, departed this life on Friday, March 21, 2008, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center.
In South Bend, James, the youngest of four children, was born to Robert and Barbara (Bridges) Plump on August 31, 1946. James graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1964 where he played football, track and wrestling. He was employed by the A.J. Wright Company.
Mr. Plump has left behind to mourn his loss one daughter, Africa Milton of Ft. Wayne, IN; one son, James (Janice) Plump Jr.; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Barbara L. Plump; two brothers, John Albert Baker and Charles Wesley Baker, all of South Bend; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his father, Robert Plump; a son, Jami D. Milton; a brother, Joe Smith; and his grandmother, Emma I. Bridges.
Funeral services for Mr. Plump will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in New Life Church, where friends may also call one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
