Gloria Ann Gorog

July 27, 1948 ~ April 21, 2023 (age 74)

Gloria Ann Gorog, age 74, of Mishawaka, Indiana was born on July 27, 1948, in South Bend, Indiana. She passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, in the same city where her journey began.

Gloria was the daughter of Joseph A. Gorog and Wilma L. (Nussbaum) Gorog, who instilled in her the values of love, kindness, and compassion.

Gloria was blessed with a beautiful family, including her daughter, Lynn (Troy) Noel of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and her grandson, Parker Noel. She also leaves behind her brother, Terry Gorog of South Bend; brother-in-law, Joseph Puzynski; nephew, Joey Puzynski, and her grand-niece, Taylor Puzynski. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sherri Gorog and Jennifer Puzynski.

In her professional life, Gloria served as a dedicated Radiology Technician at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.  Gloria proudly served in the United States Army stateside during the Vietnam War as a physical therapist to wounded soldiers.

Gloria was a lifelong member of Epworth Memorial United Methodist Church, South Bend, until it closed. She continued her worship thereafter at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She had an outgoing nature that led her to forge countless friendships and connections throughout her life.
