Paul Adam Boggs Sr.

Paul A. Boggs, 68, of 22750 W. Hartzer St., died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center emergency room of natural causes. Mr. Boggs retired in 1980 from Indiana Bell Telephone as an exchange repairman after 35 years of service.
He was born March 21, 1918, in New Carlisle, and was a lifelong area resident.
On Dec. 18, 1941, in South Bend, he married Betty Bourdon, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Carol Herthoge of South Bend; a son, Paul A. Jr. of Niles; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mable Yaw Martha Dodson, both of Niles, and Rose Rotzien and Esther Sands, both of Buchanan; and a brother, Wilbur E. of Marion, Ind.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. He was a member of Life Pioneer Group of Indiana Bell, Communication Workers of America 5900, and was a veteran of World War II. Memorial contributions may be made to First Brethren Church of Ardmore or St. Joseph's Medical Center Kidney Center Department.
