BROOKLYN Mrs. Lora M. Dreher, age 67, of 109 Lincoln Street, Brooklyn, died on Saturday, December 7, 1985, at a Madison hospital. The former Lora May Ames was born on August 15, 1918, in Madison.
She married Gordon Dreher on May 4, 1963. She had been a Brooklyn resident most of her life. She had been employed by the University of Wisconsin as a registrar and retired in 1982. She was a member of the Brooklyn Methodist Church and the Oregon Eastern Star, Chapter 49.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon, at home; a son, Jay (Lynn) Decker, Bartonville, Illinois; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Crase, , Mercer, Wisconsin; four step-children, Robert Dreher, Waukesha, Brian Dreher, Oregon, Mrs. Wendell (Jan) Sisson, Heidelberg, Germany, and Mrs. Morris (Myrna) Henry, Kokomo, Indiana; a deceased step-son, Don Decker; a sister, Mrs. Jack (Helen) Neidner, Houston, Texas; a brother, Robert Ames, Batavia, Illinois; four grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the BROOKLYN METHODIST CHURCH at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 1985. Pastor Mary Council-Austin will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Brooklyn. Friends may call from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 1985, at the B.L. BOOTH FUNERAL HOME, 431 Soden Drive, Oregon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brooklyn Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
