Terry Robert Young passed away surrounded by his loved ones on February 3rd, 2022. Terry was born July 30, 1947 to Warren and Anna Young in South Bend, Indiana. Terry graduated in 1966 from Central High School and he served the Army in Vietnam. He was a St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Sergeant for over 20 years. Of utmost importance to him was his faith, family, friends and golfing. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Rebecca Young (Hays) and two children, Jennifer Breden (Jeremy) and Whitney Young, and granddaughter, Zoey Breden.

A Celebration of Life will be held at New Hope United Methodist Church 28765 Co. Rd. 4 Elkhart on Tuesday, February 8th from 4-7pm. Masks are required. Donations can be made online to the garysinisefoundation.org for wounded veterans or New Hope United Methodist Church.
