SOUTH BEND — Mildred Madlyne Roeder, 66, of Wasco, Calif., formerly of South Bend. died July 3 in Wasco. She owned and operated a beauty shop in South Bend for 27 years while making her home in Wyatt for 45 years. Born Oct. 21, 1925, in South Bend, she lived in this area until 1990, when she moved to Wasco. In 1946, she married Wayne Roeder. He died in 1990. Surviving is a sister, Vada Millar of Wasco.

Mrs. Roeder was a graduate of the former Central High School.

There were no services. Cremation has taken place. Peters Funeral Home, Wasco, was in charge of arrangements.
