DI'ANNE TAYLOR

SOUTH BEND - Di'Anne Taylor, 54, mother, grandmother and sister, who resided on Wabash Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed away following a brief illness on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, in Memorial Hospital. Di'Anne was born to the union of Horace and Liddie Marie (Greer) Taylor on September 29, 1954, in South Bend, Indiana.

She attended South Bend Central High School and Ivy Tech Community College where she studied business administration. She worked for First Source Bank from 1999 to 2002, and One Communication from 2002 until her passing. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church and was a foster parent through Safy Corporation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Liddie Marie (Greer) Taylor, and two brothers, Othell Taylor and Marshall Greer.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Donyelle Hill and Gale "Tookie" Taylor; and a son, Rochelle Damonte (Nicole) Roberts, all of South Bend; 14 grandchildren, Damonte, Damont'e, Damonica, Dawn, Jamar, Dyneshia, Tamonica, Charkia, Damontray, Demetriana, Cameron, Jai'den, Dezmond and Daniya; one sister, Delores (Frank) Watkins of Jackson, Tennessee; one foster sister, Susan Hawkins of South Bend; two brothers, Joseph (Susie) Walker and Kenneth (Lorene) Taylor, both of South Bend; a special friend, Robert Pitts; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Di'anne Taylor will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, in Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, with burial following at Highland Cemetery. Viewing will take place one hour prior to services in the church.
