Neal Steven Masters Dec. 31, 1945 - Sept. 30, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Neal Steven Masters, 68, passed away last Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Healthwin Specialized Care, South Bend. Neal was born on December 31, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa, to the late David G. and Anna (Fagles) Masters, and had resided in the Mishawaka area since 2008, coming from San Diego, California. In his earlier years,

Neal attended South Bend Central High School and was part of the "Apollos Band."

Neal proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years at Northwest Airlines and most recently was the owner of "It's a Man's World" on Mishawaka Avenue since 2009. He was a former member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, South Bend.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Schaaf of Frankfurt, Germany, Marcia (Matthew) Bauer of Niles, and Donna (Stephen) Hodge of South Bend; brother, Jeff Masters of South Bend; niece, Holly Bauer; and nephews, David Bauer, Nick Bauer, Alex Hodge, Darrin Masters, Ryan Masters, Oliver Schaaf, Philip Schaaf and Sidney Schaaf.

Memorial services for Neal will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. Friends may visit with the family 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
