William C. Maciejewski April 14, 1925 - May 17, 2015 SOUTH BEND - William C. Maciejewski, 90, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 in his home. William was born on April 14, 1925 in South Bend to Casimir and Laura (Faltynski) Maciejewski, and was a lifelong resident. He retired from the former St. Stephens Parish in South Bend. He had also been employed with Studebaker.

On May 5, 1956, in Holy Cross Church, he married Sally Rozycki, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and his step-father, Steve Kujawa.

William is survived by his sister, Marlene Stevens of South Bend, Indina; his brother, Jack (Renata) Maciejewski of South Bend, Indiana; 8 nieces and nephews, Robert Stevens, Marie Huffman, Deborah Stevens, David Stevens, Charles Stevens, Kathleen (Mike) Hancz, James (Sue) Maciejewski, and Richard (Mary) Maciejewski; and by many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 21, 2015 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Private burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

William had attended South Bend Central High School.

He was a W.W. II Air Force Veteran. He also served in the United States Army and was stationed in Alaska. William was a Notre Dame and Cubs fan. To send online condolences, please visit kaniewski.com.
