JOANN S. (SHARP) GRENERT

SOUTH BEND - Joann S. Grenert, 81, of South Bend, IN passed away at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born on June 4, 1930 in South Bend, IN to Raymond and Martha (Soellinger) Sharp.

On March 18, 1955 in Roseland, IN she married Jesse F. Grenert, who survives. Mrs. Grenert is also survived by four daughters, Kristy Baynton of WI, Kathy Diamond of South Bend, IN, Nancy Bontreger of Middlebury, IN and Sally Grenert of South Bend, IN; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Leabeth Sholly of South Bend, IN.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Grenert, in 1975 and a grandson, Brent Diamond. Mrs. Grenert was a lifelong area resident.

She was a graduate of Central High School, South Bend.

She retired from Bendix Corporation after thirty years of service.

There will be no services or visitation. Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family. Contributions in memory of Joann S.
