October 18, 1920 – April 17, 2017

Betty Jane Kryder, 96, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2017 in At Tanglewood Place, Mishawaka.
She was born on October 18, 1920 in South Bend to the late Jasper Newton and Fidella (Bretnel) Barnes.
She is survived by her two sons; Donn E. Kryder (Kari) and Kim E. Kryder (Beth); five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her husband, Donald Edwin Kryder, preceded her in death.

Her love of travel took her all over the globe. With a pocket full of tootsie roll pops and a Bloody Mary in her hand she always took the time to dance. She loved family trips to Colorado and she and dad purchased 10 acres in San Louis Valley. She attended Cullinary arts classes at ND worked and worked at First Christian Church as secretary to the Pastors and spent the last 36 years at Kryder Veterinary Clinic.
Her family will be having a celebration of life event at a later date.
