Clifford Doan Snell

June 16 1911-Nov 24. 1993 SOUTH BEND Clifford Doan Snell. 82. of Bloomington. Ind , formerly of South Bend, died Wed nesday in his home. Mr. Snell retired in 1976 from Bendix Corp. after 40 years of service. He was born June 16. 1911, in South Bend and lived in South Bend until moving to Bloomington 10 years ago.

On Dec. 18. 1949. in South Bend, he married Eileen Dunbar. She survives with three sons. John C. of Fishers. Ind., Thomas R. of Manchester. Mo., and Richard D. of Culver City. Calif, eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was a charter member of the South Bend Symphony and played with the orchestra for over 50 years, and was a former member of Elkhart Symphony, Midwest Pops, and Civil War Roundtable.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Manner and Buchanan Mortuary. Indianapolis, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to South Bend Symphony Orchestra
