SOUTH BEND Services for . Paul L. Flary, 78, of College Street, - who died at 7 am Thursday in his ! home, will be at 11 am Tuesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Highland Cemeteiy, with military services conducted by American Legion Post 357. Friends may call from 3 to 8 pm Monday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a combined rosary will be said at 7 pm by the parish and Knights of Columbus. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Hospice of SL Joseph County Inc.

Mr. Flary retired in 1968 from the South Bend Fire DepartmenL

He was bom Feb. 26, 1917, in South Bend. On Nov. 25, 1937, in South Bend, he married Loretta C. Dutrieux. She survives with a daughter, Kaiyn Beach of South Bend.

He was a member of the church, Knights of Columbus Council 553, American Legion Post 357 and was a veteran of World War II.
