LOUISE HUNSBERGER

BREMEN - Miss Louise Hunsberger, 82, of Bremen, IN passed away at 4:17 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Bremen Health Care where she has resided since 2005. She served as Librarian for South Bend Community School Corporation at Washington High School for 40 years retiring in 1988.
Louise was born on May 5, 1926 in South Bend, IN to Charles and Nora (Marker) Hunsberger and was a lifelong River Park resident. Louise is survived by two nieces, Debbie (Carl Dengel) Walworth of Mexico and Cynthia Walworth of White Plains, NY; and close friend, Judith Waldo of Mishawaka. Louise was a member of Zion United Church of Christ; Phi Lambda Beta Sorority; and American Association of University Women. She earned her Master's Degree in Library Science from Indiana University-Bloomington. She was an avid camper and enjoyed fishing. Louise gifts were hospitality and acceptance for all.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, February 16th at Zion United Church of Christ, 715 E. Wayne, South Bend, Indiana 46617. Palmer Funeral Homes and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting with arrangements. Contributions in memory of Louise Hunsberger may be made to Zion United Church of Christ.
