Theresa Leona Micinski MacDonald

SOUTH BEND - Theresa Leona MacDonald, 81, passed away Sunday in her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 5, 1928, in South Bend, IN, to Lillian and William Micinski. She attended Holy Cross School and South Bend Central High School, and was employed by Osco Drugstore as a cosmetician for 17 years.

On November 24, 1949, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, as the former Theresa Micinski, she married Winfield MacDonald. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, and her children James MacDonald of Alcoa, TN, Marsha Kapica (Donald) of South Bend, IN, and Thomas MacDonald (Kathy) of North Liberty, IN. Survivors also include her five grandchildren, Kristen Aldorisio of San Francisco, CA, Douglas Kapica (Maureen), Travis MacDonald and Bradley MacDonald of South Bend, IN, and Jamie Cygan (Brandon); and great-grandson, Jordan of Valparaiso, IN. Theresa joins her beloved daughter Marcia, who passed away October 29, 2004.
