 Philip Marcin, 37, of 1609 Southeast Dr., died Thursday in :Detroit of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Martin was em-ployed In the Detroit office of Allied Van Lines. lie was born on Aug. 16, 1929, in South Bend, and married Frances M. Tschida on Jan. 7, 1956, in South Bend. She survives along with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Marcinkowski, of South Bend; two daughters, Jessica M. and Michelle J., both at home, and five sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Hancock, Mrs. Rosemary Enyeart, Mrs. Josephine Hanger and Mrs. Marcy Dippel, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Joan Names of Berkley, Ill.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday in the Walsh-Bilancio-Guisinger Colonial Chapel, 9718 S. Michigan St. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew's Cathedral. Msgr. Arnold J. Wibbert, rector, officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
