Stewart F. Fulkerson, 63. of 425 S. Carlyle. died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended illness. Fulkerson was a former painter and interior decorator. Born Feb. 15. 1912. In South Bend, he had lived here all his life

On Nov. 18, 1972, in South Bend. he married Mary F. VanDusen, who survives. Also surviving are three stepdaughters, Mrs. Joan Herman and Mrs. Cassandra Bryce. both of South Bend. and Mrs. Lucille Lowrance of Princeton. N.J.: two stepsons, Jack McGlinchy of South Bend and Richard McGlinchy of Elkhart. 10 grand-children. a great-granddaughter. and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wright of South Bend. Mrs. Simon Wile of Beverly Hills. Calif., and Mrs. Jeannette McLean of Cincinnati

Services will be at 19 a m Saturday in SI Adalbert's Catholic Church Rev Eugene Kazmierczak, pastor. will officiate Burial will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m Friday in the Orvis•Palmer Funeral Home. a N Main. where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p m Friday
