Henrietta Weatherspoon Benman

Mother Henrietta Benman, 69, beloved wife and mother, who resided at South Bend, IN, departed from this life at 2:15 AM, Tuesday July 8, 1997 at Saint Joseph's Medical Center, following an extended illness.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her faithful husband, Elder Harold Benman; three daughters, Pamela Benman, Alana Benman and Diane Benman; five sons, Bruce Benman, Ivan (Lisa) Benman, Gregory (Kenyatta) Benman, Harold Benman Jr. and Timothy Benman, all of South Bend; seventeen grandchildren; three sisters Ollie Grayson, Gladys Bigham and Annie Harris, all of South Bend; one brother, Mormon Lee Weatherspoon of Cassopolis, MI, a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Three sons, Rodney Austin, Robert Lee Benman and David Ryan Benman and two brothers, Joseph and Harold Weatherspoon and one sister, Bernice Weatherspoon, all preceded her in death.

Mother Benman was a member of Christ Temple Church of God in Christ, after serving along with her husband while he pastored the Ruth Memorial Church of God in Christ for fifteen years.
