Clement L. Stevens

SOUTH BEND - Clement L. Stevens, 84, passed away at 4:40 pm on Thursday, March 1, 2012, in his residence surrounded by his family. Clement was born February 18, 1928, in South Bend, to the late John and Eleanor (Brambert) Stevens. On October 19, 1957, Clement married Suzanne, who survives.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, John G. Stevens and Robert Stevens.

Clement is survived by daughter, Suzanne (Peter) Kaminski of South Bend; and son, Thomas Stevens of South Bend; grandchildren, Jason Larkin of South Bend, Kara and Joseph Kaminski of South Bend; and a brother, Donald (Shirley) Stevens of Osceola.

Clement served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 303. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Clement was a pipefitter for 55 years and was UA Local 172 Plumbers/ Pipefitters.
