Anne Moyer, 83, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 in the Sanctuary at Holy Cross. Anne was born on March 8, 1928 in St. Joseph County, IN to Frank and Maria (Soltesz) Kecskemeti, and was a lifelong resident. She was formerly employed with ATT/Indiana Bell. On October 19, 1963, in New Buffalo, MI, as Anne Kecskemeti, she married Joseph L. Moyer, who preceded her in death on January 1, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Hamilton, and her step-brother, Frank Kecskemeti.

Survivors include one niece, Michelle (Gerald) Crawford of Osprey, FL; two nephews, Michael Hamilton of Scottsdale, AZ and Thomas R. Hamilton of Chicago, IL; great-nieces and great-nephews, Ian (Rachel) Hamilton, Noel (Adrianna) Hamilton, Erin Crawford, Collin Crawford; great-great nieces and nephews, Kaliegh Hamilton, Reed Hamilton, Joshua Greenlee, and Patrick Hamilton; and her four legged friend, Brandy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 in St. John the Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 until 8 p.m. Friday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m.

 Anne was a 1946 graduate of South Bend Central High School.

She enjoyed traveling, boating, reading, and collecting dolls. She was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed watching all of their sports teams. Anne was a very loving, generous, Aunt who loved to spend time with her family and friends.
