THOMAS J. DOYLE

SOUTH BEND - Thomas J. Doyle passed away in his residence on June 17, 2012. He was born, along with his twin brother James, on Dec. 1, 1928, in South Bend, Ind., to Mary Chapleau Doyle & John J. Doyle.

He attended St. Patrick's grade school & graduated from South Bend Central High School.

He served in the U.S. Navy at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, after World War II. He continued his education and graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in business.

On Aug. 29, 1953, he married Mary Patricia Dougherty in Oak Park, Ill.

He was employed by the California Almond Growers and later by Andy Granatelli as National Sales Mgr. His last position was as General Sales Mgr. of Hunts Foods, from which he retired early.

Tom was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Mary.

He is survived by Patricia Dunn, his loving friend & companion of 25 years; his twin brother, James J. Doyle of Joliet, IL; and his sister, Jacqueline Bark of Granger, Ind.; his daughter, Ann Dumas of Williams, Oregon; his son, Michael of Carlin, Nev.; his grandchildren, Justin & Brenden Doyle of Los Angeles, and Krysta Hibbard of Williams, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has occurred by the Neptune Society of L.A.
