John W. Montgomery, 92, of Mishawaka, Ind., died Tuesday afternoon, July 11, in his residence.
John was a lawyer and Circuit Court Judge in St. Joseph County. John was born July 29, 1913, in South Bend, to Chester R. and Jessamond (Wasson) Montgomery, who preceded him in death.
On December 9, 1946, in South Bend, he married Henrietta Haack, who survives along with three sons, John W. Montgomery Jr., James W. (Crystal) and William W. (Pamela); and three grandchildren, Sarah A., Caroline K. and John B. Montgomery.
Private services and interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
John was a member of Episcopal Cathedral of St. James, South Bend, and the American Bar Association.
