MARIANNE (KUMINECZ) DEMEYER

OSCEOLA - Marianne DeMeyer, 77, of Osceola, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Marianne was born on February 27, 1932, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Martha (Sygler) Kuminecz.

On April 25, 1953, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, she married Ralph DeMeyer. She is survived by her husband, Ralph of Osceola; two children, Chris DeMeyer of Mishawaka and Cynthia DeMeyer of Grand Rapids, MI; and three grandchildren, Cody Weber, Ashley DeMeyer and Derek DeMeyer. She is also survived by a sister, Shirley Steif of Redondo Beach, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister, Martha Williams.

Marianne was a 1950 graduate of Central High School and was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was a generous and caring mother and grandmother.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, is handling arrangements.
