Robert K. Horvath

November 20, 1930 ~ September 15, 2021 (age 90)

Robert K. Horvath, 90, passed away on September 15, 2021 in Raclin House in Mishawaka.

Robert was born on November 20, 1930 in South Bend to the late Albert and Helen (Vargo) Horvath.  He worked for 45 years in various engineering positions at several firms.

On October 28, 1950 in St. Adalbert’s Church, he married the former Bernadine “Betty” Wachowiak. 

Surviving are three sons Kenneth Horvath of Kalamazoo, MI, Vincent Horvath of South Bend and Andrew Horvath of Mishawaka, two grandchildren Jennifer (James) Baughman and Kelly Ruegsegger, and 4 great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his wife Bernadine, sister Betty Doyle, brother Richard Horvath and daughter-in-law Laura Horvath.

He was an avid stamp collector.
