GRANGER - Sharon Lynn McLeod, 61, loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, who resided in the Irie House in Granger, Indiana, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday evening, December 2, 2011, at Elkhart General Hospital. Sharon was born to Emma and Freeman Johnson on May 27, 1950, in South Bend, Indiana.

As an avid traveler, Sharon lived in various cities around the world before moving to Washington, D.C., where she met the love of her life, her husband, Dr. Paul McLeod. While in D.C., Paul and Sharon raised their four children, Sidney Catlett, Sadjah (Shawn) Echols, Lauren McLeod and Morgan McLeod. After the family moved back to Indiana in 1995, Sharon shared her love of food, culture and design with her community as a volunteer, church member, and restaurant owner. As a woman of strong Christian faith, Sharon aimed to incorporate God into her everyday life; not simply professing the love of Christ, she exhibited it as well. Her memory is survived by her mother, Emma Johnson, husband, Dr. Paul McLeod, siblings, children, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and adoring friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Freeman Johnson, and two brothers, Richard Johnson and David Johnson.
