THEODORE P. PRANGE CHESTERTON, IN

heodore P. Prange, 82, of Chesterton passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017. He was born December 12, 1934 in South Bend, IN to Edgar and Olive (Roosa) Prange, graduated from Central High School, served proudly with the U.S. Army, and received a B.S. in Business from Indiana University. He began his career at Post Cereals, moved into Human Resources with GTE, served at First National Bank of Valparaiso and the American Cancer Societybefore concluding his work as a bus driver with Duneland Schools. Ted was an active member of Faith Memorial Lutheran Church having served as president and the Elkhart Lions Club where he also served as president. On August 17, 1957 he married Barbara A. Brownell who survives along with their children: Edgar W. (Leigh Ann) Prange of South Lyon, MI, Theodore P. Prange, Jr. of Indianapolis, Jeannette L. Keating (fiancé-Neil Armstrong) of Greenwood, IN and grandchildren: Alex, Veronica, Eric, Lindsey, Matt, Kelsey and Kerry. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son-in-law, Steve Keating. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 at Faith Memorial Lutheran Church, 753 N. Calumet Ave., Valparaiso from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with memorial service beginning at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Eric Schoech officiating with burial following at Angelcrest Cemetery.
